A Real Story |
This e-mail I received on 14th July 2005 from one of breeders/cat owners group.
Hi everyone,
I wasn't going to post this message (due to all the sad news within the group lately) but maybe if I share the news it will remind everyone of all the sad and idiotic morons of this world and also maybe alleviate some of my burden. On Sunday I received a call to say that Zac, a kitten from one of my last litters was killed by a car. Apart from my own hurt I felt it in my heart for the owner as she had decides only last week to let him out. It was also her birthday so can you imagine opening the front door and seeing the wee soul at the bottom of the path (someone had placed him there) If that wasn't bad enough I also received a call yesterday morning to tell me Monty (from another litter but same age) had been killed.
His death was a result of murder in my eyes. The boy driving did it deliberately. There were witnesses to this horrific act and the culprit was arrested and charged. I await an upDT but don't you all think that this just beggars belief. Michele, when you posted about Dylan I felt it in my heart for you, the owner and of course Dylan himself but as I said in a call to you, I also thought to myself how lucky I was not getting news like that. Ha, just how funny is life at times. Not a mark to be seen on any of the babies so I only hope it was quick and they did not suffer. Excuse the sentiment but God bless Zac, Monty and Dylan.
